The City of Woodway maintains four public parks. All the parks provide picnic areas, playgrounds, walking tracks and other recreational activities.
The Parks Division maintains existing parks, landscaped areas, and all public grounds. New park projects that are developed through citizen input, the City Council and the
Park Board also become part of the overall Parks Division maintenance plan; standards are set to ensure safe, yet visually attractive areas through regular mowing, watering, cleaning, and litter removal. The Parks Division is dedicated to ensuring that a high quality of life both for individuals and neighborhoods is maintained.
Notice: Starting Wednesday, May 26, 2021, the Woodway Public Safety Department will be closing Lakeside Park and Woodway Activity Park each evening between 10:30pm and 5:00am per city ordinance Sec. 12½-1.
The playground adjacent to the Woodway Family Center and City Hall is now temporarily closed due to construction from the City-wide Sewer Project. (Updated 06.09.2021)
