Perfect for young children and their caregivers, this free event features delightful stories and a fun activity in a cozy setting surrounded by the beauty of the Arboretum. We'll be reading a fun Valentine's Day book with a craft perfect for all ages!
Join us for a special Story Time Egg Hunt at the Carleen Bright Arboretum on Wednesday, April 1st at 10:00 AM! šøš£ This family-friendly event is sponsored by Walmart and hosted in partnership with the Hewitt Public Library. The morning will begin with a story read by the childrenās librarian, followed by a free egg hunt for kids to enjoy in the gardens. After the hunt, families are invited to stay and enjoy light snacks while kids play and parents connect with other families in the Woodway community. Itās the perfect way to celebrate spring and spend a fun morning outdoors with your little ones. This event is free and open to the public. Bring your baskets and join us for a morning of stories, eggs, and springtime fun!

Move, breathe, and bond with your baby or toddler during a fun yoga playdate that meets you right where you are, whether youāre expecting, holding, feeding, soothing, or stretching your little one! š¤ Gentle movement + breathwork for moms š§ø Safe stretches for littles š¬ Meet other mamas in a relaxed, supportive space Bring your yoga mat, blanket for your little, and anything else that makes you both comfortable. Join us at the Carleen Bright Arboretum for a hands-on Build a Birdhouse Workshop designed for kids and families to create, build, and decorate their very own birdhouse to take home. During this program, participants will assemble a simple wooden birdhouse, personalize it with paint and decorations, and learn how birdhouses help support local birds in our community. This relaxed, open format allows families to come and go at their own pace within the two-hour window. All supplies are provided, and no experience is needed ā just bring your creativity and enjoy a fun morning at the Arboretum. This program is perfect for elementary-aged children, but all ages are welcome with adult assistance.
