An innovative educational program focused on introducing beginners of all abilities to rowing. 

One Adult Division:

  • Monday February 16th, Wednesday February 18th, and Friday February 20th from 7:00 am to 8:30 am and Saturday February 21st and Sunday February 22nd from 9:00 am to 11:00 am
  • Lakeside Park, 2025 Estates Drive: Dock Facility along shoreline

WFC Baseball League

A non-competitive, recreational baseball league designed for skill development and fun.

Registration Open: January 5th – February 27th

Divisions:

  • 4/6-year-old Co-Ed: T-Ball
  • 7/8-year-old Co-Ed: Coach Pitch

League Schedule:

  • Player Assessment: T-Ball- Tuesday, March 3rd, 5:30 pm – 7:30 pm, Coach Pitch- Thursday, March 4th, 5:30 pm – 7:30 pm
  • Coach’s Draft/Meeting: Wednesday, March 5th, 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm
  • Practices: Tuesdays/Thursdays/Saturdays (if needed), March 17th – April 9th: T-Ball, (5:30 pm – 6:30 pm), Coach Pitch, (7:00 pm – 8:00 pm)
  • Games: Tuesdays/Thursdays/Saturdays (if needed), April 14th – June 13th: T-Ball, (5:30 pm – 6:30 pm), Coach Pitch, (7:00 pm – 8:00 pm)

Explore Basketball

An opportunity for boys and girls to learn the fundamentals of basketball.

Registration Open: January 5th – February 1st

Sessions:

  • Session 1: Ages 5-8

Explore LEGO

An opportunity for boys and girls to learn the fundamentals of Lego building in a fun learning environment.

Sessions

  • Session 1: Ages 6-11

Winter Basketball

A non-competitive, recreational basketball league designed for skill development and fun.

  • 11/12-year-old boys and 11/12-year-old girls

  • Practices: Tuesdays/Thursdays/Saturdays, December 2nd – January 8th: 5:30 pm – 7:00 pm
  • Games: Tuesdays/Thursdays/Saturdays, January 13th- March 14th: 5:30 pm – 7:00 pm
*There will be no practices or games scheduled for the weeks of Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Year’s Eve/Day*

Family Open Gym

Ages: All Ages – 17-year-old and under must be accompanied by an Adult

Dates:

  • Monday’s – 3:00pm – 5:00pm (Basketball)
  • Tuesday’s – 3:00pm – 5:00pm (Basketball)
  • Thursday’s – 3:00pm – 5:00pm (Basketball)
  • Friday’s – 3:00pm – 5:00pm (Basketball)

What:

• Family Hour Open Gym will be divided by age groups to ensure the safety and pleasure of all participants.

The Woodway Family Center (WFC) has been a memorable part of the Woodway community for the past thirty years providing youth sports and recreational activities! The WFC strives to promote a family atmosphere while providing a place for children to learn the basics of competition and fundamentals in various sports, with an emphasis on fun and sportsmanship. Over 1,000 families bring their children to WFC each year from the Woodway/Waco/Hewitt area. On April 1, 2024, the WFC opened its new facility. Alongside our youth sports and recreational programming, we will be offering S.T.E.A.M. programming.

The Woodway Family Center is now accepting private party, gym, and field rentals. The gym will be available for Open Gym at select times throughout the year. Please see the Youth Calendar for availability!
