Parks

The City of Woodway maintains four public parks. All the parks provide picnic areas, playgrounds, walking tracks and other recreational activities. The Parks Division maintains existing parks, landscaped areas, and all public grounds. New park projects that are developed through citizen input, the City Council and the Park Board also become part of the overall Parks Division maintenance plan; standards are set to ensure safe, yet visually attractive areas through regular mowing, watering, cleaning, and litter removal. The Parks Division is dedicated to ensuring that a high quality of life both for individuals and neighborhoods is maintained.

Poage Park

Poage Park is located at 100 Poage Drive, which is located on the corner of Poage Drive and Woodway Drive.

Amenities: Pavilion and gazebo, picnic tables, playground, restrooms, sand volleyball court, and walking track

Whitehall Park

Whitehall Park is located at 7600 Fresno Street.

Amenities: Woof Way Dog Park, tennis/pickle ball court, gaga ball pit, 6 picnic tables, cement volleyball court, lighted pavilion, playground, and walking track

Lakeside Park

Lakeside Park (formerly known as Woodway Park 2) is located at 2025 Estates Drive which is at the end of Estates Drive near Lake Waco. Lakeside Park is open daily between 5am – 10:30pm.

Amenities: pavilion (lighted with four tables), 18-hole disc golf course with view of the lake, playground equipment, hike & bike trails

Woodway Activity Park

Discover amazing hike and bike trails and a fun sports field at the Woodway Activity Park (formerly known as Woodway Park 1). It is sure to be fun for the entire family! This park is located at 1625 Estates Drive and is open daily between 5am – 10:30pm. The Woodway Activity Park bathrooms are available at this time.
