Get ready for a week of outdoor adventure, nature discovery, and hands-on fun at the Carleen Bright Arboretum! Arboretum Explorers Camp is designed for kids ages 7–12 who love to explore the great outdoors. Campers will enjoy guided nature walks, hands on learning, crafts, games, and more—all set in the beautiful gardens and trails of the Arboretum. Each session runs Monday–Friday from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM and includes a camp t-shirt, swag bag, and daily snacks. Session 2: August 4 – August 8 Cost: $90 per camper Ages: 7–12 Registration open now!! Spots are limited!

Join us for a special Back to School Safety Story Time with the Woodway Public Safety Department at Whitehall in the Carleen Bright Arboretum! Officers will read a story and share important tips to help kids stay safe as the new school year begins. Plus, don’t miss a chance to meet K9 Officer Don—he’s excited to say hello to all his new friends! This fun and educational event is perfect for young children and families. Free and open to the public.

Wrap up the summer in style with the Sloppy Joe Band at our FREE Back to School Bash on August 7 at 7 PM on the Event Lawn at the Carleen Bright Arboretum! This lively group brings the energy with a mix of rock, pop, and crowd favorites that will get everyone on their feet. Pack your lawn chairs, bring the whole family, and join us for one last big celebration before the school year begins.
